Morocco is a colorful country, with modern and medieval cities, high mountains, vast deserts and beaches, labyrinthine bazaars, and tranquil corners. Whatever you’re looking for, it will enchant you.
Impressive colors, fragrant spice markets, and a… orchestra of urban sounds: Morocco may seem a bit overwhelming at first. However, it is utterly enchanting and uniquely exotic.
Located 13 kilometers from the coast of Spain, in northwest Africa, it is a blend of fairy-tale Middle East, Berber tradition, and European influences.
Day 1: Departure from Athens to Morocco, meeting with our partner and now very good friend, Hassan. Transfer to the hotel and a brief presentation of the upcoming program.
Day 2: We wake up to the sounds of the Imam and start our journey to the village of Armund at the foot of the mountain. From here, we’ll load our luggage onto the mules and begin our hike to the Toubkal refuge (3208m altitude). Hiking hours: 6 B,L,D
Day 3: The summit day of our trip has quickly arrived, and the ascent to the Toubkal Jebel peak at an altitude of 4167 meters is underway. After 5 hours of effort, we find ourselves at the highest peak of the Atlas Mountains, with the hot Sahara stretching out beneath us. Return to the refuge, enjoying the sunset. Hiking hours: 8. B,L,D
Day 4: Descent to the village of Imlil and return to Marrakech for our afternoon stroll and shopping at FNA square. Hiking hours: 5. B,L,D
Day 5: From Marrakech, we head to Essaouira and the Atlantic coast, where we’ll wander through the fortified center of the Medina, declared a World Heritage Site since 2001. In the afternoon, free time for sightseeing and shopping. B,D
Day 6: We wake up with the ocean breeze and after a short walk on the city’s vast beach, it’s time to head to the outdoor fish markets and choose the fresh fish just caught by the locals. Return to Marrakech after lunch. B,D
Day 7: Transfer to Marrakech Menara airport and return to Greece.

- All transfers by mini bus according to the itinerary
- Overnight stays in Marrakech in a 2-star hotel or similar
