Itinerary

  • Day 1

Airport – Delfi

Transfer from the airport to Delfi (ancient oracle) and short walk to the archaeological area of Delfi.
Overnight in hotel at Delfi.

  • Day 2

Delfi – Mount Parnassos

Transfer by mini bus to the ski center of Parnassos (Gerontovraxos). Arrival at the refuge in Defner (1825 m). Time to put our skins on  our skies and start a short walk (with skis) to the Gerontovrachos Peak (2395m).

Overnight in the refuge.

  • Day 3

Mount Parnassos

We are ready to climb up to Toumporaxi Peak (2435m) and Liakoura (2459m), the highest point of Mount Parnassos. Enjoy the fantastic view of Delfi valley.

  • Day 4

Mount Parnassos - Spilia Kissavou (850m)

Transfer to Shelter Kanalos (1500m) in Mount Kissavos. After a short snack while enjoying the amazing view of the Aegean Sea, we start our day on our skies in skins to the Profitis Ilias, the peak of Mount Kissavos (1980m). After a long rewarding day, we return to Spilia village on the foothill of the mountain to enjoy our dinner in a local taverna.

  • Day 5

Spilia – Mount Olympus

Transfer by mini bus from Spilia village to Vrisopoules area (1800m) in Mount Olympus. It’s time to put our skins on and continue skiing until we reach the refuge. First, we climb up to Agios Antonios peak (2814m),  Skolio (2912m) and Skala peak (2866m).

Overnight in the refuge of Vrisopoules.

  • Day 6

Mount Olympus

We climb up to Christaki peak (2714m) and Metamorfosi peak (2699m). In the afternoon, we visit Elassona city and settle in our hotel.

  • Day 7

Transfer to the airport

Transportation

We travel by our own mini-bus or local buses which leaves us to walk and continues, with our baggage, to the next place where we will stay for the night.

Accommodation

Hotels in the cities, village pensions or refuges throughout the trip (all with private facilities).
The trip prices are based on double occupancy.

Food

Every morning we have breakfast in the hotels, picnic lunch en route and dinner at local taverns. (Vegetarians are welcome on the trips, too).

Insurance

Participants should be covered by their own personal travel-health insurance and prior to the trip. The personal insurance must at least cover medical expenses as well as air rescue and the cost of repatriation.

Gallery

The routes offer very nice ascents and a lot of couloirs for riding with a maximum of 5-7 hours. Participants should be in good physical condition with a little of experience.
