Continuing the Adventure camps in the wider Pelion area, it’s time for our Easter gathering. Children will have the opportunity to test their skills in climbing – rappelling, hiking, and treasure hunting in nature.
Amidst the beauties of spring, they will get to know Agios Lavrentios and its cobblestone streets by horseback riding and learn how to build a wooden shelter in the clearing at the chapel of Prophet Elias above the village of Agios Georgios.
Other activities included in the daily program will be the following: Rappel & river trekking, adventure park (Tibetan bridge, spider web, slackline, etc.)
All safety measures are observed, and children will have the opportunity to play, move, laugh, learn, and at the same time express themselves, create, and communicate, forming new friendships.
For five whole days, children have the opportunity to participate in an ‘alternative camp’ in nature and get to know the villages of Pelion. From early morning until early afternoon, young campers participate in activities and games that make up a multi-themed educational program.
Daily Program:
Day 1: Agios Onoufrios
Adventure park (Tibetan bridge, spider web, etc.), climbing, hiking.
Day 2: Agios Lavrentios
Treasure hunt, horseback riding.
Day 3: Agios Georgios
Hiking, wooden shelter construction, fire lighting, camping basics.
Day 4: Milies
Visit to the folklore museum, library and church, rappel & river trekking, Centaur’s Cave.
Day 5: Hania (Pelion ski resort)
Archery, hiking, slackline.
Daily Schedule
08:00-09:00 delivery time
09:00-11:00 First phase of activities (hiking – climbing – horseback riding)
11:00-11:30 Snack time and rest
11:30- 13:30 Second phase of activities (Climbing, adventure park, hiking)
13:30-14:00 Material organization – discussion time – board games
14:00-15:00 delivery time.
